I was in a relationship that was toxic but felt stuck. I regained my confidence and learned how to set boundaries. I am now single and dating but am sticking up for myself and what I want. I am also doing better at setting boundaries with family and friends so that I am not always feeling pressure to do what I don't want to do.
I have been to other therapy offices before and this is by far the most personable and friendly.
We started therapy for our middle child and saw so much improvement we had our youngest and oldest also attend counseling. We feel more solid as a family and connected.
My therapist is very understanding of my issues in a world full of judgment. I feel like I have safe place to share my thoughts and feelings.
I lived with undiagnosed PTSD for many years, it caused severe social problems. Every attempt I made to socialize in the real world, always went horribly wrong, it resulted in a severe PTSD episode, which for me, involved blackouts. I have since entered the world via VR immersion, I was able to learn to socialize from the safety of my therapist room. I am now able to socialize in the real world more successfully. I still have a way to go and have yet to experience dating, but I now feel I have a chance to achieve this too.
