Amy Creegan
Hi, I'm Amy, a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, and Clinical Director at Brightside Behavioral Health.
I have a warm, friendly, eclectic approach to therapy. I enjoy working with all age groups and many presenting problems, and diagnoses.
I have over 20 years of experience working in the therapy field. I received a Master's Degree of Science with a concentration in Marriage and Family Therapy from The University of Rhode Island. I specializes in working with children, parenting, and adults. I have extensive experience using EMDR, CBT, DBT and have a proven and consistent successful history working with children and adults with Anxiety, ADHD, Autism, Depression, Trauma and many of life's issues.
I utilize interventions such as EMDR, CBT, DBT psycho education and many other shaping behavior/thinking techniques. An eclectic approach with positivity, resourcing and strengths based interventions have helped my clients improve adjustment in the home, school, work and community. I work with children, adults and couples.
I love to help individuals, couples and families with a variety of issues using solution focused techniques and a friendly, warm and engaging approach. I strive to develop positive relationships and help my clients gain insight into their lives and while increasing their quality of life and relationships.
