Lindsey Coen

Hello, I'm Lindsey, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Clinician at Brightside Behavioral Health. I find joy in working with individuals of all age groups, with a primary focus on children, adolescents, and families.

With ten years of experience in the human services field, I bring a wealth of knowledge and expertise to my practice. I hold a Bachelor's of Science in Human Development and Family Studies from The University of Rhode Island, and I obtained my Master's Degree in Social Work from The University of New England, along with my Clinical Social Work License. My specialization lies in working with children, adolescents, families, and parenting.

My therapeutic approach incorporates evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), problem-solving techniques, and functional family therapy. Throughout my career, I have worked with countless individuals facing challenges such as Anxiety, Depression, Trauma, PTSD, Adjustment Disorder, ODD, and various other life issues.

By employing interventions such as CBT, DBT, Family Systems, Parent Child Interaction, and other proven techniques, I strive to facilitate positive changes in the lives of those I work with. My approaches are centered around the needs and goals of my clients, with the aim of enhancing their overall well-being and quality of life.
