Hannah Gilbert

Hannah found her passion for all things psychology by studying human behavior during her freshman year of college. She quickly became at the top of her class and soon-after entered graduate school to further pursue being a therapist. After several years of schooling, Hannah graduated with her Master's Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. Some of the courses she excelled in during graduate school include: Multicultural Theories & Techniques, Counseling Across the Lifespan and Advanced Individual Counseling Theories & Techniques. Hannah also began taking additional continuing education courses while in school that focused on some of these topics: Trauma Informed Care, Harm Reduction, Case & Treatment Planning and Co-Occurring Disorders.

After completing her schooling, Hannah has continued to work in the field alongside individuals with various and co-occurring mental health concerns for 2+ years.

Hannah believes in using a wide-ranging approach to counsel children, adolescents, and adults by incorporating a variety of interventions to meet the needs of each client.

She utilizes interventions such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Client-Centered, Trauma- Informed, and Psychoeducation. Hannah has experience working with the LGBTQ+ community as well as treating Anxiety, Depression, Posttraumatic Stress Disorder, and Bipolar Disorder alongside other mental health diagnoses and concerns.

Hannah provides a calm, supportive, and non-judgmental environment and is committed to helping each client achieve personal growth throughout their counseling experience.
