Sofia Irons
As a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker, I am a trained and licensed professional who provides therapy to individuals, couples, families to improve their mental health and wellbeing. I provide person-centered, culturally sensitive therapy, that focuses on healing you from grief and trauma. I hold a master's degree in counseling and a certificate in Grief Counseling (CG-C) and Complex Trauma Professional Level 2 (CCPT-II).
My work involves helping clients to identify, understand, and manage mental health concerns such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues. I use various evidence-based treatment approaches such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and mindfulness-based therapies to help clients achieve their goals and improve their quality of life.
I am compassionate, empathetic, and non-judgmental, and I provide a safe and confidential space where clients can express their thoughts and feelings without fear of stigma or discrimination. I work collaboratively with clients to develop treatment plans that are tailored to their unique needs and preferences.
In addition to providing therapy, I also engage in ongoing professional development to stay up-to-date on the latest research and best practices in the field of mental health. I am committed to promoting mental health awareness and reducing the stigma surrounding mental illness.
