Lisa DiMaria

I am a Board-Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner dedicated to providing compassionate, whole-person care—always recognizing that you are more than a diagnosis. I take a comprehensive approach to getting to know you, exploring your unique situation and the aspects of life that impact mental health, including your physical health, degree of stress, family and work life, and social connection. With a strong foundation in research, I carefully select evidence-based medications, when appropriate, that align with your goals and values. Using my skills as a health and wellness coach and mindfulness teacher, I strive to make each visit therapeutic and continually support your well-being. I also integrate strategies consistent with cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavior therapy, and acceptance and commitment therapy.

I have a special interest in helping older adults manage mental health disorders and chronic conditions, supporting women through peri- and post-menopause, and working with adults living with anxiety disorders (including OCD, social anxiety, and panic), depression, adult ADHD, and mood disorders. Additionally, my military nursing experience has deepened my commitment to serving veterans and their families. Above all, I strive to create a space where every individual feels seen, heard, and truly understood as we work together to improve your quality of life and experience greater joy.
