Jaxon Tamulaites

Hi! My name is Jaxon, and I’m a mental health counselor who takes a strengths-based, person-centered approach to therapy. I believe counseling works best when it feels collaborative, supportive, and grounded in who you are as a person, not just the challenges that brought you in.

I have experience working with children and adolescents and enjoy helping clients work through stress, anxiety, identity, life transitions, self-esteem, and other challenges that can come up at different stages of life. My goal is to create a space where clients of all ages and backgrounds feel comfortable talking openly, making sense of what they’re experiencing, and figuring out what they want the next chapter of their life to look like.

I earned my master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Springfield College, with a focus in Athletic Counseling. I have a particular interest in working with athletes and understand the unique pressures that can come with sports, competition, performance, and identity. I have worked with athletes ranging from youth sports through the Division I college level on concerns including performance anxiety, confidence, mental performance, identity, stress, and the emotional challenges that can come with balancing athletics and everyday life.

My style is warm, collaborative, and encouraging. I want therapy to feel like a place where you can be yourself, recognize the strengths you already have, work through what feels difficult right now, and move forward with a better understanding of yourself and what matters to you.
