Gloria Faboyede

Gloria Faboyede, MA, LMHC-A, is a warm, collaborative therapist who works with young children and adults navigating life transitions, identity, stress, fatigue, burnout, anxiety, depression, relationship concerns, ADHD, trauma, and loss. She strives to create a relaxed, nonjudgmental space where clients feel understood, make sense of what they're experiencing, and leave feeling as though some of the weight they've been carrying has been lifted.

Having spent several years working in corporate settings, Gloria understands the pressures of high-achieving professional environments and enjoys supporting clients experiencing burnout, academic stress and career transitions.

Gloria also has a special passion for working with young children. With a background in early childhood education and experience as a preschool teacher, she understands the importance of the early years in a child's emotional development. She incorporates play, games, books, and creative activities to help children identify and express emotions, develop coping skills, and work through difficult experiences. She views caregivers as an important part of this process and orks collaboratively with families to support their child's emotional needs.

Gloria's therapeutic style is integrative and individualized. She incorporates narrative and cognitive-behavioral techniques, psychoeducation, relaxation strategies, and creative interventions based on each client's needs. She enjoys helping clients recognize patterns, connect the dots between their experiences and emotions, and understand the "why" behind what they're feeling.

Gloria believes therapy doesn't have to feel overly clinical. Her sessions are conversational, supportive, collaborative, and may include humor when appropriate.

Above all, Gloria offers a space where you don't have to have everything figured out before you walk through the door.
