Finding the right person to help guide you through therapy can be incredibly overwhelming and challenging. I am so glad you found my page! I also commend you for taking the first steps toward improving your life. I applaud your courage and willingness as you begin your journey toward healing and change. My priority is to create a space free of judgment where you can feel safe to process thoughts and feelings in a way that feels authentic.
It is important to me that my clients are heard and feel accepted. You are the expert in your own life, and I want to help you access your strengths to achieve positive and meaningful change. Whether you are suffering from loneliness, depression, anxiety, addiction, end-of-life issues, LGBTQ issues, grief, loss, Alzheimer's Disease, trauma, dementia, or chronic illness and pain including Ehlers Danlos Syndrome; we will work together to build a new way of looking at the world and functioning within it.
I use an eclectic approach to therapy tailored to individualize the needs of each client. I am here to meet you where you are at. Together, let us challenge your negative beliefs, identify unresolved root issues, address past hurts and conflicts, and learn the skills to move forward successfully.
I work with individuals, families, and partnerships. Treatment approaches used: Certified Clinical Trauma Professional Level II (CCTP-II), Cognitive Behavioral (CBT), Cognitive Processing (CPT), Dialectical Behavior (DBT), Family Systems, Motivational Interviewing, Solution Focused Brief (SFBT), and Strength-Based Therapy.
