While we need to acknowledge our grief, we also need to take care of ourselves and our commitments to others. We can help you identify stages of grief and normalize/validate your experience while providing tools to help alleviate your distress.
EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) can be a highly effective intervention for you if you are experiencing panic attacks, anxiety, trauma, PTSD, and depression. If you, your child, or a family member has had a recent mental health diagnosis, we are here to help provide you with psychoeducation and resources that may be helpful for you. If you are curious about having an undiagnosed issue (such as PTSD or adult ADHD), we can also help by exploring your symptomology, assessing, and referring for official diagnoses and/or medication assessment.
If you feel that your child needs additional supports in school, we are here to help advocate for IEP/504 services for your child. We can help assess for possibly undiagnosed attention or anxiety issues. We can also help assess the appropriateness of current supports.
