Hi, my name is Yolanda

I have an M.A. – Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology from Regent University with a concentration in Trauma and Crisis Intervention. I am currently enrolled in my Ph.D. program in Marriage & Family Therapy.

I have been privileged enough to work in a respected network of mental health professionals leading in their field. They combine science and faith for the benefit of diverse populations, on top of working with children, adolescents, teens and adults.

I use different approaches because I believe each client is an individual and therefore their therapy should be individualized. I believe that the foundation for successful therapy is in providing a non-judgmental therapeutic environment

One size does not fit all, so we must tailor our approach to the needs of the individual client.

I’m a Rhode Island-based counseling service therapist that offers assistance and specializes in anxiety, coping skills counseling, family conflict, women’s issues, and trauma therapy.

I also have experience dealing with addiction, self-esteem issues, behavioral issues, parenting, relationship issues, and domestic abuse.
