Hannah found her passion for psychology by studying human behavior during her freshman year of college and soon after entered graduate school to further pursue being a mental health therapist.
After several years of schooling, Hannah graduated with her Master’s Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. Some of the courses she excelled in during graduate school include: Multicultural Theories & Techniques, Counseling Across the Lifespan and Advanced Individual Counseling Theories & Techniques.
Hannah also began taking additional continuing education courses while in school that focused on some of these topics: Trauma Informed Care, Harm Reduction, Case & Treatment Planning and Co-Occurring Disorders.
After completing her schooling, Hannah has continued to work in the field alongside individuals with various and co-occurring mental health concerns for 2+ years.
Hannah believes in using a wide-ranging approach to counsel children, adolescents, and adults by incorporating a variety of interventions to meet the needs of each client.
She utilizes interventions such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Client-Centered, Trauma-Informed, and Psychoeducation. Hannah has experience working with the LGBTQ+ community as well as treating Anxiety, Depression, Posttraumatic Stress Disorder, and Bipolar Disorder alongside other mental health diagnoses and concerns.
Hannah provides a calm, supportive, and non-judgmental environment and is committed to helping each client achieve personal growth throughout their counseling experience.
