Audrey attended Skidmore College, a small liberal arts college in Saratoga Springs, New York. She majored in Social Work and received a very well-rounded education that focused on collaborative learning.

While at Skidmore she completed a rigorous Social Work internship at a local elementary school which totaled over 400 hours. While there she worked closely with the school Social Worker and quickly learned what the role entailed. She would see students in grades Kindergarten through 6th grade for individual and group counseling.

Audrey aided in creating Individualized Education Plan (IEP) goals for her students as well as attending their IEP meetings. The students she worked with had diagnoses of Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Anxiety, Depression, and many more. After completing her 4 years Audrey earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Social Work (BSW).

Audrey left Skidmore College and went on to attend Simmons University’s School of Social Work in Boston, Massachusetts. She entered into the Advanced Standing Program which she was able to do because she had earned her BSW from an accredited school.
While at Simmons Audrey’s education focused intensely on theory and how to utilize theories within her work. She completed a year-long internship at a Massachusetts preschool.

While there she was the sole social worker; she had no social worker to shadow as she did in her previous internship. Audrey had to quickly adapt and create a structure that worked for herself and the students she was working with.
While at the preschool Audrey worked closely with the students who had special needs. She learned how to communicate with students who were nonverbal while also balancing meeting the needs of the other students that required her attention as well.

While at the preschool she once again ran weekly individual and group counseling sessions as well as whole classroom-based lessons which were focused on kindness and self-regulation. Audrey earned her Master’s in Social Work (MSW) from Simmons within a year.

After Simmons Audrey went on to study for her boards and earned her license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW). Audrey is licensed in both Rhode Island and Massachusetts.

Audrey enjoys spending time with friends & family.
