This means that the therapist identifies the underlying issues with the participation of the client as part of a deeper understanding of how the brain works. Once patterns are identified, skills are presented during sessions that the patient practices between sessions, effectively resetting or overwriting undesirable anxiety responses with positive life skills and approaches.
